Darth Vader, it must be said, is the central figure to the story.
It begins with him, is fuelled by him, and ends with him.
The reason there can be no movies beyond ROTJ is because Vader is dead, and so goes the story.

This trilogy is not about Darth Vadertron, Lord Vader of Cheam, as he is merely a puppet of the Empire. He is a character created by a lust for power and his greed makes him powerless to do anything except lick the bags

**cool breathing noises** I think that darth vader is definately quite inconsequential in the context of the star wars movies. There are just soooo many different possible movie ideas without featuring darth vader. And if he actually was important then he wouldn't have died at the end of the movies. . . Luke skywalker 4eva.
